“Sourcing new members is essential for the success of all community organisations”

Our vision is to: “To provide a positive approach within the section to both social and competitive players.

Enabling them to reach their potential and enjoy the experience the game has to offer

Our objective for all potential members is to “try before you buy”.

This means we will arrange and provide a free lesson for any prospective member.

Within the club, we are lucky enough to have expert coaches, who will give you a helping hand to put down a decent bowl.

You my  be surprise yourself  just how simple it is to catch on to the fundamentals of this great outdoor sport.

It is possible to learn all of the basics in an hour-long lesson.

Best of all there is no charge for the lesson and no one will pressurise you to join.

Additionally we provide all the equipment needed to play the game to get you started.

Please dress comfortably and casual, all we request is that you wear a pair of flat soled shoes.

During your first lesson the coach will explain how the game is played and demonstrate the fundamentals of bowling on the grass.
Guidance will be given on your stance,  bowling and improvement techniques.

If after your lesson you are all fired-up about lawn bowling, but want to spend a little more time with it before you decide to go for it, speak to your personal trainer and request another lesson.
The second session will probably  be a refresher of the first with a little more attention to technique.
